A festival celebrating Filipino culture, food and music is set to return to Stevenage this summer.

Organised by the Stevenage Filipino Community, Barrio Fiesta will take place at Event Island in the town centre from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, July 27.

There will be plenty of fun for all the family to enjoy, with food, music and dancing expected throughout the day.

"This celebration is free to the public with delicious Filipino dishes for sale and a display of talents in music, dancing and entertainment," said Stevenage Filipino Community member Cheryl Cullen.

"Come and join the festive and fun cultural experience brought to you by the Filipino-British community in Stevenage."
