Parliamentary candidates for Stevenage will take part in a Question Time-style event on Friday, with the focus on public transport.
Organised by the Bus Users Group Stevenage (BUGS), the event will be held on Friday at the Quakers Religious Society of Friends in Cuttys Lane, Stevenage.
A spokesperson for BUGS, who said all Stevenage constituency candidates are confirmed to attend, explained: "Chaired by Bus Users UK's chief executive, Claire Walters, this shall be a fair opportunity for all of Stevenage constituency's candidates to put forward their positions, listen to residents' concerns, and tell the public what more they would do to support and improve public transport services, both locally and nationally.
"Joining the panel is industry expert Deni Krevesic, fellow of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transport.
"Candidates will introduce themselves with a brief statement and answer questions from members of the audience."
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Refreshments will be available. The event is expected to finish at 9pm.
