Fire crews rushed to Letchworth in the early hours of this morning (June 22) to put out a rubbish blaze which they believe was started "deliberately".
Firefighters from Baldock headed to Station Road at 12.43am following reports of rubbish alight.
They successfully put out the fire, which is believed to have been started "deliberately".
"The Baldock crew were sent to Station Road, Letchworth following reports of cardboard or rubbish on fire," read an X post from Herts Fire and Rescue Control.
"This deliberate fire was quickly extinguished with a hose reel."
