Pedestrian access to a Stevenage car park will temporarily be restricted next month while work is carried out.
St George's Way multi-storey car park is to be closed to pedestrians for twelve days, beginning on Monday, July 1.
Stevenage Borough Council has said it is to enable contractors to carry out initial works as part of the wider public realm improvement scheme happening in the area.
The car park and indoor market will both remain open, with signage in place to direct visitors to alternative entry points.
The southern entrance and exit will be closed from July 1 until July 5.
The northern entrance and exit will then close from July 8 until July 12.
Access to the car park is set to resume as normal following the completion of the works.
