The countdown is on and excitement is building ahead to Stevenage Food & Drink Festival later this month.
Taking place on Saturday, August 24, and Sunday, August 25, Event Island, New Town Fountain and Clock Tower, and Queensway will be abuzz with delicious food, refreshing drinks and entertainment for all ages.
Organised by Stevenage Borough Council and LSD Promotions, the festival will run from 10am to 7pm on Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday, with free admission on both days.
A wide range of street food stalls will be offering up tasty grub, featuring everything from gourmet burgers to international dishes, while thirsty punters will be able to get their hands on cocktails, cold beers and more.
A live music stage will see artists from across Stevenage and Hertfordshire perform, interactive workshops and walkabout entertainment will keep children entertained and a beach will provide a great spot to sit and relax.
"We're excited to bring this fabulous Food & Drink Festival to Stevenage this summer," said Siobhan Noake, from LSD Promotions.
"It's a fantastic chance for the community to come together and enjoy some great food and entertainment."
Applications are still open for food traders who would like a stall at the festival. You can apply by calling 01384 877 336 or emailing customerservice@lsdpromotions.com.
