The popular Balstock music festival returns next weekend with more than 180 acts performing across 11 venues.

The charity festival will take place on September 13, 14 and 15 on Baldock High Street and other participating venues.

As well as catering for a wide variety of music tastes and genres, including Reggae, Folk, Ska and Flamenco, this charity weekend extravaganza will also include a Burlesque stage and an Air Guitar competition!

Not only is the festival’s line-up bursting with exciting entertainment and events, there is also deserving group of recipients, with all acts performing in support of five causes.

These causes include Red Kite charity, PANDAS Foundation, Supportive Activities Programme (SAP), Road Victims Trust and Club 85 in Hitchin.

Entry to every single venue is free but organisers ask that if you see a Balstock bucket or shaker to please pop in some change or to donate using the QR codes or ‘SumUp’ machines provided.

Balstock first began in 2006 and has only grown every year since, excluding a fallow year in 2018 and and a COVID postponement in 2020.

Organisers invite everyone to help make this year’s festival special and to keep the town clean whilst doing so.
