Sandon's annual fete will celebrate French connections with cooking and a dog show.
The fete will be held on the village green and in the village hall from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, September 22.
Proceeds will go towards updating facilities at All Saints’ Church, Sandon.
Opened by the village's most recent bride, the fete includes a dog show with 12 novelty categories - such as 'waggiest tail' and 'scruffiest dog' - alongside more traditional ones.
Baking enthusiasts can also showcase their talents in a competition, split into three age categories.
Participants aged 10 and under are to decorate a cupcake, 11-15 year-olds are tasked with baking raspberry and chocolate muffins, and adults with either a quiche lorraine or five chocolate profiteroles.
There will also be a separate fruit and vegetable carving competition under the theme 'bugs, slugs and snails'.
Other activities include a tug of war, space hopper races, a tombola and a grand draw offering £100 cash as the main prize, with a variety of hampers for runners-up.
Tidal Basis will perform live music, and visitors can enjoy crepes suzette, homemade cakes, cream teas and a barbecue, as well as a licensed bar with prosecco.
