A children's nursery in Letchworth, which prides itself on being an inclusive setting, has celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Wonderland Day Nursery in Works Road was opened in 1994 by owner Kath Cole and her daughter, Emma Melvern, for children aged six months to five years.
A spokesperson for the nursery said: "We pride ourselves on being an inclusive setting, and want to support all families to look after and support their children to thrive and develop in our care.
"We have over 100 children and a huge team of qualified practitioners, support staff and trainee practitioners working alongside us, supporting us to build Wonderland as the loving, caring and supportive environment we aim to be.
"We are a home away from home for the children.
"Building their self-esteem, confidence and independence by learning through play, the children get to explore inside and outside in our new garden, and we want the nursery to be child-centred and holistic, and value all the children as individuals.
"We have a lovely open-plan layout within our setting, and have worked endlessly to provide exciting learning opportunities for the children to explore in all areas of the nursery.
"We thrive on providing training to team members in all different areas of early years education, in order to further staff knowledge and understanding and offer the best possible support for all children coming into our care."
Wonderland Day Nursery, which is rated outstanding by Ofsted, celebrated its 30th anniversary with an all-day party at the nursery, including a bouncy castle, disco, tea party, activities and games, as well as a visit from some farm animals.
