There's still time to join the ‘Great Big Walk’ and raise money for children in Hertfordshire.
Helping Herts has organised a ‘Great Big Walk’ on Saturday, September 28, to help raise money for 12 charities across the county.
Clare Burgess, Helping Herts business manager, said: “We are excited to see our community come together for the Great Big Walk for Herts.
“It’s more than just a fundraising event—it’s an opportunity to make a real difference for young people across the county.”
Walkers can pick one of 12 loops that are included within the ‘Great Big Walk’, each loop being 13 miles long across diverse landscapes.
Beginner and experienced walkers are welcome as each route is suitable for all fitness levels.
The charities that walkers will be raising money for include:
- Grove Cottage
- Hertfordshire Mind Network
- Home-Start Herts
- Herts Young Homeless
- The OLLIE Foundation
