Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to identify following a theft in Hitchin.

Items including alcohol and food were stolen from the BP/M&S Simply Food shop on Stevenage Road at around 12pm on Tuesday, August 20.

Police say the woman in the image is thought to have been in the area around the time of the incident and may be able to assist with enquiries.
