A man has been rushed to hospital after the air ambulance responded to reports of a medical emergency in Stevenage today (September 23).
The helicopter landed in Hampson Park just before midday, with a community first responder, an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a paramedic car also called to the scene.
A man was transported by road ambulance to Lister Hospital for further assessment and care.
"A community first responder, an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic car and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to a private dwelling in Stevenage this morning following reports of a man with a medical emergency," an East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson told The Comet.
"One man was transported by road ambulance to Lister Hospital for further assessment and care."
