Patients and visitors to Lister Hospital in Stevenage are being advised to plan ahead, as roadworks in the surrounding area will likely cause delays.
On North Road, the new junction to the housing development will operate under temporary traffic lights until permanent lights are installed in late October.
On Graveley Road, Affinity Water will be carrying out works under traffic management (signal controls) until October 28. A full road closure will be in place on Graveley Lane from September 30 to December 21.
From October 28 to November 1, which is half-term, there will be works on Coreys Mill Lane, to the east of the hospital entrance. These works will be carried out under multi-way temporary traffic lights.
A spokesperson for the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, which runs Lister, said: "We know road closures can be frustrating for staff, patients and visitors accessing Lister Hospital. We will continue to share any updates when we hear them. Please note these may change at short notice."
