The Government has issued a flood warning for specific streets in Hitchin, as "river levels remain high and are responsive to further rainfall".
Areas most at risk, the Government warns, are Woolgrove Road, Green Lane, Purwell Lane, Brook View, Ninesprings Way and Oakfield Avenue in Hitchin, as well as Stevenage Road in Ashbrook, Stevenage Road, Priory Lane and Elms Close in Little Wymondley, and High Street and Church Lane in Graveley.

The Government warning says: "River levels remain high and are responsive to further rainfall. Flooding is still possible for the next few days while the rivers drain away from high peak levels.
"The forecast is for further rainfall over the next couple of days.
"Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger."
