Newly elected Stevenage MP Kevin Bonavia has launched a school Christmas card competition.
This follows his recent initiative to engage with local schools by launching a scheme for school trips to Parliament.
Mr Bonavia is inviting all primary schools in the Stevenage constituency to take part in the competition.
The children are encouraged to colour in their design on the provided template, fill in their details, and either post it to Mr Bonavia or email a scanned copy.
The winning design will become the MP's official Christmas card, which will be sent out to constituents, businesses, and even the Prime Minister.
There will also be an additional prize for the winner and two runners-up
Mr Bonavia said: "I want to thank all the teachers for their hard work this year.
"I hope this will be a fun activity to build into the curriculum that the class and staff will enjoy.
"I’m looking forward to seeing all the brilliant designs - I know there's a lot of talent in our schools who can do a far better job at designing a card than me."
To enter, post your submission to Kevin Bonavia MP, 13a Town Square, SG1 1BP, or scan an email copy to kevin.bonavia.mp@parliament.uk.
The deadline for submissions is November 4, and the winning design will be announced to all schools.
