A member of staff at Letchworth Morrisons was assaulted and items were taken during an incident at the supermarket.

On Monday, September 23 around 12.30pm, it was reported that a selection of vapes were taken from the Broadway store, and a member of security staff was assaulted when challenging the suspects as they left.

The suspects were described as two white teenage girls aged around 16 and 4ft 5ins tall.

One was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, dark trousers and dark sunglasses. The other had long brown hair tied back in a ponytail, a black Nike top and black leggings.
