Stevenage's summer signing spree has continued with another experienced name - and brother of one of their earlier acquisitions.
Louis Thompson is a central midfielder and younger brother of Nathan Thompson, captured from Peterborough United earlier in the month.
The 28-year-old has an impressive CV, just like his sibling too, with more than 185 appearances across League One and the Championship,
He was with Portsmouth last season and counts Portsmouth, MK Dons, Shrewsbury Town, Swindon Town and Norwich City as former clubs.
And he sees plenty to be excited about with the plans of Steve Evans for the upcoming season.
"This is a club with lots of momentum", he said Thompson. "We have aspirations of surprising a few this year and I believe in the project.
"I enjoyed my initial conversations with the manager and have been impressed with the infrastructure.
"Now I’m ready for a good season."
