Baldock Town had two representatives at the National Championships at Leamington Spa.
Sam Andrews was in the junior men's singles and beat Northumberland's representative 21-15 before losing to 21-16 to Lancashire.
Hayden Chambers lost 21-6 to Lincolnshire.
Town's ladies won 46-30 in a league game against Three Horseshoes and there was a 73-40 friendly win over Biggleswade, although another friendly with Biggleswade St Andrews ended in a 73-40 loss.
Whitethorn ladies won the North Herts women's pairs final by two shots, beating Riverain 16-14.
A midweek friendly with Datchworth ended in a comfortable 85-42 success, with wins on three of the four rinks.
In the Stevenage Mixed League, Howard Garden lost 54-40 to St Ippolyts while a friendly at Letchworth ended in a 57-41 defeat.
Their one winning rink in that was Thelma Blake, Jamie Moynes and Sandra Jordan who won 24-8.
Datchworth’s final East Herts League match saw the Golds host Potters Bar Kites, going down to a narrow 34-32 defeat.
Dave Castle, Keith Smith and Steve Chamberlain were the winning rink, coming out with a 19-12 success.
In Welwyn Hatfield League Division Two, they won 34-26 away to Hertford Castle Jesters.
Again there was one rink win and one loss, the winning team that of Barbara Williams, Julian Hales and Richard Harper.
Two Stevenage Mixed League games brought two victories.
They won 64-36 at home to Aston with a clean sweep on the three rinks.
Lucy Williams, Keith Smith and Graham Akers were the big winners, losing just six ends as they won 27-7.
The second match was away to Stevenage with a win, a loss and a draw on the three rinks.
The winning rink had a bigger margin of victory than the losing rink, Rachel Jones, John Spraggett, Terry Metcalf and Derek Henley winning 20-13, meaning Datchworth picked up a 53-48 success.
A mixed friendly at home to Whitethorn, however, ended in an 85-45 loss.
Only one of the four rinks won, that of Jim Whittle, who was replaced by Lynn Marsh at the break, Jenny Holzbauer and Ian Green.
North Herts started the week with a resounding 72-27 away win against Stevenage Town.
They won on all three rinks with the best of them a 36-7 success for Paul Riseborough, Chin Tory and Tony Glenn.
Andy Denniss, Rae Glenn and Pete Moss won 19-12 and Lynne Brown, Derek Gilder and John Atkinson 17-8 on the others.
Their second away match of the week was not so dominant, falling to a 59-58 loss at Stotfold.
It was still a very exciting match with the team of Robin Edmett, Tricia Jeffreys and Malcolm Summerville winning 18-10.
