Stevenage are expected to make at least one transfer deadline day move - with Manchester United striker Charlie McNeill heavily linked.
But who is the 19-year-old?
Well first thing to say is that the child of Droylsden is not nineteen forever as Manchester band The Courteeners once sang. His 20th birthday is on Saturday, September 9, when Boro host Carlisle United.
Footballing wise, the youngster has already had plenty of experience despite his age.
A Man Utd fan, he actually moved to the blue half when he was just 11 and reportedly scored somewhere in the region of 600-plus goals at youth level.
He returned to the Red Devils in 2020 for an initial fee of £750,000 but that could still rise to around £1.35m depending on whether he plays a set number of first-team games and other noteworthy achievements.
Standing six-foot tall, McNeill has made one appearance for the first team, coming on for the final seven minutes of a Europa League group stage defeat at home to Real Sociedad 51 weeks ago.
He has spent a lot of time with United's U18 side, winning the FA Youth Cup in 2022, but he does have some senior appearances under his belt having moved to Newport County on loan in January.
He featured 20 times in south Wales, scoring twice, the first in March against Tranmere Rovers.
He also played 11 minutes as a substitute in the controversial 2-2 draw with Boro on February 14.
Should he sign for Stevenage, the deal is expected to be a season-long loan.
