AC Malone stormed to a fine victory in the final of the Hitchin Sunday League George John Cup.
Played at the County Ground in Letchworth, Malone won 5-0 against Atletico 99 5-0 to lift the trophy.
They enjoyed a very fast start, going ahead after five minutes when the manager's player of the season, Jensen Martin, struck from 30 yards, catching the Atletico keeper off guard and finding the bottom corner.
The second came from a great run from Kane Stanton before Somer Gough applied the finish for his first goal of the season.
And they managed to make it 3-0 before half-time, completing a super first 45, Stanton getting on the end of Ben Fairey's cross with a fine header.
It got even better for AC immediately after the break Dion Gibbs smashed in the fourth from the edge of the box.
But it wasn’t until the last five minutes that Malone got their final goal, Stanton beating the keeper to the ball and tapping into an empty net.
The man of the match award went to AC skipper River Amis for his all-round display throughout the game.
