Stevenage are being linked with yet another player that was plying his trade in the Scottish Premiership last season.
Goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott was part of the Hibernian squad having arrived at Easter Road last summer from Charlton Athletic.
But the Ghana international failed to hold down the number one shirt and the club are reported to want to remove him from the wage bill. return to the EFL.
The Daily Record have said that any move though would only happen if Hibs could fill "their own goalkeeping void after David Marshall’s retirement".
Wollacott remains the only recognised number one in David Gray’s squad ahead of the new season with Murray Johnson heading on loan to Airdrie and 21-year-old Max Boruc set to play back-up to two more established shot-stoppers.
Boro only have Taye Ashby-Hammond as a senior keeper, Rylee Mitchell still part of the academy squad.
