Hitchin Town continue to have a stinker of a start to their Southern League Premier Division Central season after five straight defeats.
The bank holiday weekend had begun with a 3-0 loss at home to Kettering Town that had put manager Brett Donnelly in a bad mood,
"Not good enough today," he said, speaking on Twitter.
"I have to look at the performance, the squad and myself. Four defeats isn’t the start we wanted at all.
"Changes are needed for sure otherwise I’ll have my weekends free soon.
"It'll also be lovely to ram some of the negativity down some people’s throats when we get it right."
He is still waiting though after a 4-0 loss on the road at Barwell, a result that leaves them rock bottom of the table.
It left his mood in a darker place than Saturday.
He said: "We deserve all the criticism and negativity that’s going to come our way.
"I sound like a broken record but I’m going to have to evaluate where we go from here as we haven’t been good.
"Time for big changes and get some results or otherwise I’ll be gone."
They do get a break from the league on Saturday although not from the tough games.
Berkhamsted visit Top Field in the FA Cup first qualifying round and their attempt to bounce straight back after last year's relegation has started well, with four wins form four.
Stotfold had been without a game on Saturday but returned to action in Division One Central on Monday at home to Real Bedford.
The visitors had stormed to an 8-0 success at their own ground against North Leigh two days earlier, moving them second in the table with three wins from four.
And they are now top, but only after a scrap to win 2-0 in front of a crowd of nearly 500.
The Eagles have their own FA Cup date on Saturday when they go to Isthmian League Premier Division Hashtage United.
Baldock Town are on the move in the FA Vase after a 2-1 success away to Haverhill Rovers in the
Albert McGregor had put them in front 10 minutes into the second half only for the Eastern Counties League Division One North side levelled a further 10 minutes later.
However, Kai Tearle made sure there would be no cup shock by putting the Reds back in front immediately.
They will now play away to Benfleet in the second qualifying round on September 21.
Arlesey Town enter at that stage when they face AFC Welwyn away.
They filled in what could have been a blank weekend by hosting Harpenden Town in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, and made it three wins on the bounce with a 1-0 victory.
Alex Cathline got the goal in the first-half as the Blues moved third in the table, although the scorer ended the game back in the dressing room early, sent off for two yellows at the end of the first half.
In Division One, Letchworth Eagles got their third win of the season by beating Cranfield United 2-1, Luke Baranowski and Max Smith the scorers as they reached ninth.
And in Division Two, there was a first win for Codicote at the third time of asking, a 1-0 success at Aston Clinton.
