A former Stevenage favourite is set for his first return to the Lamex since moving to Plymouth Argyle.
Saxon Earley spent a few months at the Lamex after signing on loan from Norwich City in the summer of 2022.
He was recalled by the Canaries in January 2023 and immediately sold to Plymouth Argyle, then part of League One and on their way to the Championship.
He hasn't enjoyed a great time at the Pilgrims and spent part of last season with Wycombe Wanderers.
It is now with Lincoln that he is on the verge of coming back to Stevenage, signing for the Imps on the eve of the League One game at the Lamex.
But while Boro manager Alex Revell knows plenty about the left-back, he is also well aware of the quality possessed in the squad of Michael Skubala.
Revell said: "They've got good players and are a good team, well organised and we know it's going to be difficult.
"We went there last season, drew 0-0 and that was a difficult game.
"But we've been moments away from having a lot more points this season so they’ll be thinking the same about us - the way we work and what we've been producing.
"It’s been nice to have a week of training and hopefully we can see another improvement of what we've been doing against a really good team.
"They've strengthened, they’ve signed some big players but we just have to show [a good side of us] at home again."
