The last two victories for Stevenage may have been a watershed moment according to Alex Revell - and they will head to Peterborough United determined to keep the momentum going.
A 1-0 victory at home to Charlton Athletic was backed up by another 1-0 win on Tuesday night at home to Wrexham.
That second one especially was almost the complete performance, and the boss thinks the penny might be dropping for players as to what is required to be in his team.
"Yeah, I think so," said Revell. "I think that when you look back to Wigan, that game was a huge part [of recent form].
"I think the new players probably realised what you have to do to play for this club and this team and get a result away from home, how hard you have to work.
"Yes, you obviously want to go and win 4-0 but it doesn't always happen.
But that gave everyone belief in terms of information, in terms of their work and in terms of their organisation.
"And then Saturday against Charlton was a big result at home and we have to make sure that we have that same attitude again.
"Winning gives belief, performances give belief and also just allowing the players to showcase their talents.
"We've said it all summer. We want players to showcase their talents and have players playing in their positions and getting the best out of them .
"Wrexham at home was a great game for us in terms of the timing, the fans and everything about it.
"Everybody was willing everybody to do well and we saw some top performances from people, some that haven't been in the team either.
"With that competition for places, people now know that if they don't perform, and even if they do, they still might not play because it might not be the right team that to play in a certain game."

The old adage in football is never change a winning team but such was the intensity of that game in midweek, both emotionally and physically, that there is definitely a case for fresh legs.
Revell is definitely considering that option.
He said: "For me personally as a manager, what I learned from Exeter is that it's not always right to keep the same team. It has to be the right team for that game and that was a big learning point for me.
"It wasn't the right team to go away to Exeter and put on a performance.
"We’ve always spoken about freshness in your team, but you also have to make sure that the players that are put in [lots of good] effort.
"You do have to have show them there's a reward for winning and playing and performances but it’s about finding that balance.
"Players want to play, they want to stay in the team because they know if they come out, there's people there that that can come in and take their place.
"We've got an honest group and we've got honest players but we'll pick a team to go and put on a performance [against Peterborough].
"Whether that's the same or different, we'll see, but it has to be the right team and shape to go and get a win."
Saturday's League One trip to London Road is the first of two games between the two, the second in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
There was a wry smile when asked if the double header would play a part in his team selection.
"Saturday is so important for us," said Revell. "We want to get three wins on the spin in this league which no one would have us down for from looking at the fixtures.
"It wasn't luck, we’re a team that mean business but we can only do that on the pitch and the players have done that for the last three games and at times for the season.
"But it's about showing people that the last two games have been a base and now we're kicking on.
"It's all about Saturday and we'll take care of that and then see what we have left.
"We will pick another strong team [on Tuesday in the BSM Trophy] because we don't have a game on the Saturday after.
"The players can obviously recover after that but Saturday is important for us."
